ABOUT CHATTERBOX
We provide speech, language, and feeding therapy for the pediatric population. The therapy process begins with a pediatrician’s referral and scheduling an evaluation. Your SLP will perform a comprehensive evaluation that addresses all areas of concern. Evaluations typically include: a standardized assessment, parent interview, case history, oral mechanism examination, and informal measures. The assessment will be tailored to your child's age and developmental need. Assessment procedures may be added or removed as needed. Evaluations typically take 45- 90 minutes. At Chatterbox we believe that we are the experts in speech/ language but that you are the expert in your own child which is why following the evaluation process, your SLP will review your child’s evaluation report and collaborate with you to develop appropriate goals for a Plan of Care! Therapy is generally 2 sessions at 30 minutes each per week; however, this can vary dependent on client needs. Chatterbox strives to make therapy as functional and fun as possible to help increase carryover of skills.
